How do I start a mom group?
The best way to form a mom group is by starting with people you know. Talk to new mothers that you meet at the doctor’s office or baby classes, and let family, friends, and co-workers know what you’re doing so they can pass the word along. What are the discussion topics like?
Moms Meet topics vary each month, but always center around raising healthy, happy families. Sometimes, we talk about eco-conscious living—like keeping toxins out of your home or going green on a budget. Other times, we talk parenting issues—potty training or talking to kids about disabilities. Whatever the topic, we strive to give you stories that’ll get everyone in your group excited to share their opinions, tips, and ideas.

What distinguishes Mom Ambassadors from regular Moms Meet members?
Mom Ambassadors strive to be the voices of their communities by leading groups of local moms. During meetings, they foster group discussion of important green living and parenting topics, lead group product sampling, and provide feedback on samples their groups have tried. Mom Ambassadors are the only members of the Moms Meet community to receive exclusive product sampling opportunities.
I signed up to be a Mom Ambassador, now what?
After you complete your online application, you will be redirected to the Mom Ambassador Training page. There, you’ll receive tips and information to help you form your mom group, run successful group meetings, and more. You’ll also begin receiving the monthly Moms Meet e-newsletter—featuring discussion topics and questions for your group meetings—and exclusive opportunities to sample exciting green products.

What is the Mom Ambassador Login?
Once you become a Mom Ambassador, it is important that you login to GreenMomsMeet.com. By logging in, you’ll gain exclusive access to information regarding current and upcoming sample programs. You will also gain access to training information and Product Feedback Survey links for sample programs you’ve been accepted for, and much more!
I can't login to my account, but I am a registered Mom Ambassador and get emails regularly.
You may be an active Mom Ambassador and receive our emails, but you still need to have a separate login account on GreenMomsMeet.com. Click here to create your login account and make sure you use the same email that is on your Mom Ambassador account.
Can Moms Meet members who aren’t Mom Ambassadors create a login account?
Yes, you can still create a login account but you will not see any details that are exclusively for Mom Ambassadors. To apply to become a Mom Ambassador, click here.
I am a Mom Ambassador but I have not received any sampling invitations recently. What's going on?
You may have unsubscribed from our emails at some point or your email service provider may have marked us as SPAM. In order to ensure that you receive all of our emails, we recommend that you add our email address (momambassadors@greenmomsmeet.com) in your email contact list or mark us as a safe sender, so your email provider delivers all of our emails to you. Please email us at momambassadors@greenmomsmeet.com so we can look into your account for you and reset your account.
Will I ever be charged for samples?
No. Samples are always free.
Can I charge my moms for the samples?
No. You may not charge fees to anyone in your group, other than as is necessary to cover actual expenses that you must spend to run the group (e.g., if you have to pay a rental fee to use a meeting space).
How do I apply for a sampling program?
Sampling invitations are sent exclusively to Mom Ambassadors on a rolling basis. Upon receiving an invitation, Mom Ambassadors can fill out an application to participate in the sampling program, and will be notified within two weeks as to whether or not they’ve been selected.
How do I know whether I’ve been accepted to sample a product?
Within two weeks after applying to participate in a sampling program, you will receive an e-mail notifying you of whether or not you’ve been selected.
I was accepted to sample a product, now what?
After being accepted, you can login to GreenMomsMeet.com to view the sample program page for your product. The sample program page will let you know when your samples have shipped, and includes product and training information to help you run a successful sample program with your group. The sample page also includes your link to the Product Feedback Survey, questions you’ll need to ask your group when sampling the product. Only you need to fill out the feedback survey, the answers should reflect your group’s majority opinion of the products.
I wasn’t accepted to sample a product. How can I improve my odds of being accepted next time?
Mom Ambassador sample recipients are selected based on several criteria, including feedback response to past sampling opportunities, geographical region, and sampling invitation response time (first come, first serve). To improve your odds, be sure to apply for a sampling program as soon as you receive an invitation. Also read this blog post for additional help.
